43 Year-Old Damon Darnell Hodges was fatally shot on Jan. 18 at a trampoline park in Flint Township, Michigan.
After viewing security footage of the shooting. Police took a 39-year-old woman into custody.
On Jan. 27, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton held a press conference announcing, “I believe her actions were reasonable under the law and I will not seek criminal charges against her.”
The unidentified women is not being named because she is a victim of domestic violence was not charged with any crimes.
Leyton said the woman was a victim of abuse at the hands of Hodges over the course of several years — and even just moments before the deadly shooting.
