Man Sentenced After Fatal Feud Over Loud Snoring.

56 Year-Old Christopher Casey of Montgomery County has been sentenced last week after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the stabbing death of a neighbor following a dispute that authorities said was over loud snoring.

Casey will have to spend 11.5 to 23 months in the county jail followed by 3 years’ probation after pleading guilty to the manslaughter charge and possession of an instrument of crime.

Casey who was originally charged with 3rd degree murder for killing his next store neighbor Robert Wallace, 62  pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors said that Casey stabbed Wallace after he pushed in his first-floor window and threatened to kill him over his snoring.

Relatives of the victim said he had been unable to sleep due to the noise and his fatigue had affected his life and ability to work. Casey apologized to them in court, calling the fatal argument “unfortunate.”
