A Mother of Ohio and two men are now arrested after officers say they sicced a Pit Bull on a handcuffed 6 year-old boy.
According to lawandcrime.com authorities responded to a 911 call at a home on Chapel Street in Savannah where they learned that a pit had attacked the boy on the neck and ear while in handcuff’s.
The boy’s injuries were so serious that he had to be airlifted to a hospital.
28 Year-Old Angelina Williams, the child’s mom, lived at the home with a family member of the owner, 47-year-old Robert Michalski, who had the dog and left the house with the dog before officers arrived.
Deputies investigated further and said they determined Michalski, Williams and her boyfriend Taylor Marvin-Brown, 29, restrained the boy with handcuffs on his hands and feet and sicced the dog on him.
Detectives searched the home on Monday and allegedly found evidence supporting the charges, though they did not reveal what they unearthed.
All 3 remained at the Ashland County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon. The sheriff’s office is forwarding the case to the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
