Flight Attendant Sues Delta for $75M After Plane Flip.

A lawsuit for $75 million has been filed by an off-duty flight attendant against Delta Air Lines following a fiery crash at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport where she aided passengers to safety despite sustaining her own injuries.

Vanessa Miles, a flight attendant, sued Delta, claiming that the airline took shortcuts in multiple aspects that resulted in a plane crash in Toronto in February.
Vanessa Miles filed a lawsuit in the Eastern District of Michigan alleging that the accident was due, at least in part, to the defendants’ decision to assign an inexperienced and inadequately trained pilot to operate the flight.
The defendants were accused of compromising safety by hastening pilots through training and knowingly jeopardizing passengers by using inexperienced flight crew.
Miles alleges she experienced numerous severe and lasting physical and mental injuries, such as a fractured shoulder, traumatic brain injury, back injuries, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other ailments.
Madeline Sinkovich’s lawyer stated that due to safety, training, and evacuation failures, Ms. Miles sustained severe injuries during the crash landing of Delta Air Lines/Endeavor Air Flight 4819 in Toronto.
The legal team is seeking complete accountability and compensation through the legal process.
