LGP QUA, a Philadelphia rapper, whose real name is Qidere Johnson, died in a shooting on Mother’s Day in Juniata Park.
The shooting happened during a robbery attempt at the intersection of M and Luzerne streets. Two individuals Joshua Thomas-Coleman and Abdul Boyd, both 19, have been apprehended regarding the homicide, and law enforcement is actively searching for a third suspect.

A third arrest has occurred in the LGP QUA murder case in Philadelphia. Amir Earley, one of the suspects involved in the fatal shooting of Qidere Johnson, was captured by U.S. Marshals while trying to escape.
Authorities suspect the murder resulted from a failed robbery.
LGP QUA and a friend were near the intersection of M and East Luzerne Streets shortly before 5 p.m. on Mother’s Day. They suspect that three people, masked, noticed LGP’s gold chains and decided to rob him.
