Orlando Police Release Video of Road Rage Attack Involving Pregnant Woman

The Orlando Police Department has released disturbing video footage of a road rage incident that escalated into a violent assault on a pregnant woman and a bystander who attempted to intervene.

According to police, the incident occurred on February 23, 2026, near Millenia Boulevard and Millenia Plaza Way, a busy area surrounding the The Mall at Millenia.

Authorities say the situation began as a traffic dispute between two drivers. During the encounter, the suspect — identified as 37-year-old Mandolyn Ann Shaffer-Brockwell — allegedly exited her vehicle and aggressively approached the victim’s car.

Video released by police shows the suspect climbing onto the hood of the victim’s vehicle before opening the driver’s side door and physically attacking the driver. The victim reportedly told the suspect that she was pregnant and had a child in the vehicle at the time of the assault.

A second victim, a 68-year-old woman, attempted to intervene after witnessing the attack at a nearby traffic light. Police say the suspect then turned her attention to the older woman, striking and scratching her. Officers later observed visible injuries on the bystander’s face.

The situation escalated further when law enforcement arrived. According to the arrest report, the suspect resisted arrest and bit an officer during the struggle.

Shaffer-Brockwell was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including battery, burglary with assault, resisting an officer with violence, and aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer.

The Orlando Police Department shared the video publicly as part of its investigation, providing both surveillance footage and body camera clips documenting the incident.

Officials have not released additional details about the victims, and both reportedly declined media interviews.

The case remains under investigation.
