Comedian Tracy Morgan finally had something to smile about Friday.
The “30 Rock” star exited a New Brunswick, N.J., hospital nearly two weeks after he arrived in critical condition from a horrific New Jersey Turnpike car wreck.
But his recovery from the June 7 accident that killed his longtime pal James (Uncle Jimmy Mack) McNair was just getting started, a Morgan spokesman warned.
“Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks,” said the statement from spokesman Lewis Kay.
“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and (fiancée) Megan (Wollover) wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”
