Four Women Who Jumped Pregnant Qdoba Worker Appear In Court

Fishers, Indiana — Four women are facing criminal charges after allegedly attacking a pregnant employee at a Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant in Fishers on May 17.

Authorities say the incident occurred in the evening at the restaurant along 96th Street. Investigators allege the group entered the business and became involved in a confrontation with a pregnant employee working behind the counter.

The attack—sparked by an ongoing dispute over a man—involved the suspects storming behind the counter and allegedly attempting to stab the victim’s stomach

According to prosecutors, the situation escalated when the women allegedly went behind the counter and physically assaulted the worker.

Court documents also state that at least two of the suspects are accused of brandishing knives during the incident.

Police responded shortly after the altercation. The victim, who was pregnant at the time, was treated following the incident.

Officials have not publicly released further details about her condition.

The four women charged in the case are identified as Aniyah Gooch, Dajah Gooch, Armoniah Malone, and Darrique Jackson

All four women appeared in court on Monday afternoon, where a judge entered preliminary not guilty pleas on their behalf.

The Gooches are being held on a $50,000 bond. Jackson’s bond was set at $10,000, and Malone’s bond was set at $7,500.

All four defendants have been charged with battery-related offenses. They are expected to return to court for additional hearings as the case proceeds.

The incident has drawn widespread attention after details circulated on social media, sparking discussion about workplace safety for fast-food and service industry workers.

Court proceedings remain ongoing.
