The ongoing legal drama surrounding former BET Rap City host and Atlanta radio personality Big Tigger has taken another dramatic turn after his estranged wife, Alicia Brown, was arrested in Georgia on outstanding kidnapping-related warrants tied to the unsolved 2019 disappearance of her daughter.
According to law enforcement officials, Brown was taken into custody Monday during a felony traffic stop on Interstate 85 after deputies with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office located the SUV she was driving.
Authorities had reportedly been searching for the vehicle after receiving a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) alert connected to warrants issued in Maryland.
Officials said Brown was arrested without incident, and two young children who were inside the vehicle were safely recovered.
One of those children is reportedly the son she shares with Big Tigger, whose legal name is Darian Morgan.
Investigators say the Maryland warrants stem from the disappearance of Brown’s daughter, Ailea Brown, who vanished in 2019 when she was just 10 years old. The missing child case has remained open for years and continues to draw attention from law enforcement and the public.
Authorities have not released additional details about the evidence that led to Brown’s arrest this week.
She is currently facing a felony interference with child custody charge in Georgia and is expected to be extradited to Maryland, where she will answer to the outstanding warrants.
As of Tuesday, officials have not announced whether Ailea Brown has been located, and the missing child investigation remains ongoing.
Brown’s arrest comes less than three weeks after Big Tigger made headlines following his own arrest on aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children charges stemming from an alleged domestic dispute involving Brown.
The longtime radio host has denied the allegations against him, maintaining that the accusations are false. Court records previously showed Brown was granted a temporary protective order, temporary custody of the couple’s minor children, and exclusive use of the family home while legal proceedings continued.
In recent days, several videos allegedly showing confrontations between the estranged couple surfaced online, adding fuel to an already public and emotional dispute. One widely circulated clip appeared to show the pair struggling over a cellphone during an argument.
News of Brown’s arrest quickly spread across social media, where many users expressed shock over the connection to the years-old missing child case. Others questioned how the latest development could affect the ongoing legal battle between Brown and Big Tigger.
The arrest has also shifted public attention back to the disappearance of Ailea Brown, with many hoping investigators will uncover new information that could help solve the case.
At this time, prosecutors have not publicly released court documents outlining the specific allegations behind the Maryland warrants. Officials have also not disclosed when Brown will be transported to Maryland to face the charges.
Neither Brown nor her legal representatives have publicly commented on the arrest.
Both Brown and Big Tigger are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. Their respective legal cases remain ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as the investigations continue.
Street Addictz will continue following this developing story and provide updates as more details become available.
