Rob49 is back with a brand-new single called “GIRLS GIRL”.

Rob49 is back with some new music, and this time the New Orleans rapper is switching things up a little bit.

The rapper officially dropped his latest single, “GIRLS GIRL,” , giving fans another new record to add to their rotation as the weekend gets started.

The new track was released through Rebel/Geffen Records and arrives as Rob49 continues to stay active with a steady stream of music throughout 2026. The release is also being highlighted among this week’s new hip-hop releases, putting Rob49 right in the middle of another packed Friday for rap fans.

And if you know Rob49, you already know he’s not coming into the weekend trying to make anything boring.

ROB49 SWITCHES UP THE VIBE

“GIRLS GIRL” gives listeners a slightly different side of Rob49.

The rapper takes a more melodic and toned-down approach on the new record compared with some of the harder, more energetic songs that have become part of his catalog. The change-up gives him an opportunity to ride the beat differently while still keeping the personality and subject matter that fans expect from him.

The song is centered around Rob49’s attention toward women, with the rapper delivering plenty of his signature slick and unfiltered bars throughout the track.

One thing that stands out immediately is the laid-back delivery. Instead of going full throttle from beginning to end, Rob49 settles into the production and lets the record breathe.

For longtime listeners, that change in approach could make “GIRLS GIRL” an interesting addition to his growing catalog.

ANOTHER RELEASE IN A BUSY 2026

Rob49 has been staying busy this year.

The rapper has already released several singles in 2026, including “DO IT,” “How I’m Livin,” “Bad Bitch,” “300 Blackout,” and “IN THE CLUB” featuring Sexyy Red.

“IN THE CLUB” arrived in August and continued Rob49’s run of collaborations and solo releases. Now, just weeks later, he’s giving fans another record with “GIRLS GIRL.”

That consistent output has kept his name circulating in hip-hop throughout the year.

His latest release also arrives on a huge Friday for new music. October 2 brought major projects and singles from artists including Drake, Quavo, Yung Miami, NoCap and others, making “GIRLS GIRL” part of a particularly crowded new-music lineup.

THE SONG IS ALREADY GETTING ATTENTION

The record is already appearing on new-music playlists and release roundups.

iHeartRadio’s Rap Rising roundup for this week includes “GIRLS GIRL” alongside new music from some of the biggest names dropping Friday.

That puts Rob49’s latest record in front of listeners who are actively looking for new rap music this weekend.

The song is also available through Audiomack, where it is listed as a Rob49 release with an October 2, 2026 release date and Rebel/Geffen Records credited as the label.

Amazon Music is also listing “GIRLS GIRL” as a new Rob49 single released October 2.

ROB49 ISN’T SLOWING DOWN

At this point, “GIRLS GIRL” looks like another piece of what has been a very active year for Rob49.

The rapper has continued releasing music while building on the momentum from his previous records and collaborations. His catalog has also continued expanding across solo tracks and features, including appearances alongside artists such as Sexyy Red, Loe Shimmy, G Herbo, YTB Fatt and others.

Now he’s back with a record specifically built around the ladies.

Whether you’re already a Rob49 fan or just looking for something new to play this weekend, “GIRLS GIRL” is officially out and ready for the rotation.

And with a title like “GIRLS GIRL,” you already know Rob49 had a certain type of audience in mind.
