Styles P is reminding hip-hop fans that the Ghost still got bars.
The legendary LOX MC has released the official video for his latest track, “Set Of P’s,” giving fans another dose of the gritty, no-frills lyricism that Styles P has been known for throughout his career.
Known for his hard-hitting delivery and street-centered storytelling, Styles P doesn’t need a whole lot of gimmicks to make his presence felt. On “Set Of P’s,” the Yonkers, New York rapper gets back to what he does best—letting the bars speak for themselves.
The official video puts the focus right where it belongs: on The Ghost and the music.
For longtime fans, seeing Styles P continue to release music and visuals is a reminder of just how much staying power the veteran MC has had in hip-hop. While the rap game has changed dramatically over the years, Styles has continued carving out his own lane without losing the raw sound that helped make him a respected name in the culture.
As one-third of The LOX, alongside Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, Styles P has been responsible for some of the most memorable verses and gritty street records in New York hip-hop. His solo career has also established him as one of the most consistent MCs from his generation.
And “Set Of P’s” is another example of Styles staying true to that formula.
The new visual is already giving fans something to talk about, especially those who have followed Styles P since the early days of his career. Rather than chasing whatever sound happens to be trending, The Ghost continues to deliver music on his own terms.
That authenticity is a major reason Styles P has remained respected by both fans and fellow rappers.
The release also comes at a time when nostalgia and lyricism continue to have a strong place in hip-hop. While newer artists dominate much of the mainstream conversation, veteran MCs like Styles P continue to prove that experience, wordplay and presence can still make an impact.
Whether you’ve been rocking with The LOX since the beginning or you’re discovering Styles P for the first time, “Set Of P’s” gives listeners another opportunity to hear why The Ghost has maintained his reputation as one of New York’s toughest lyricists.
And judging by the reaction to the new visual, fans definitely aren’t tired of hearing him.
