DDG is keeping the momentum going with his latest release, and this time he’s bringing Babyfxce E along for the ride.
The rapper has officially released the music video for “BUTTONS & SWITCHES,” one of the standout collaborations from his new album HIT-A-THON.
“BUTTONS & SWITCHES” features Detroit rapper Babyfxce E and appears as the third track on HIT-A-THON, DDG’s 15-track project released September 25 through DDG Entertainment/Epic Records.
The collaboration brings together DDG’s West Coast-influenced sound with Babyfxce E’s gritty Michigan rap style. Apple Music describes the track as carrying the menacing string-heavy production associated with the sound coming out of Michigan, while DDG handles his side of the record alongside Babyfxce E.
The song itself runs just over two minutes and was produced by Bandplay, with the record officially credited to DDG and Babyfxce E.
But what makes the new video drop even more interesting is how HIT-A-THON came together in the first place.
DDG created the project during a massive seven-day, 24/7 livestream, allowing viewers to watch the creative process unfold in real time. What started as a livestream experiment eventually turned into a full album featuring a stacked list of collaborators, including Lil Yachty, 42 Dugg, Real Boston Richey, Pluto, Bunna B, ian, Domani and more.
“BUTTONS & SWITCHES” quickly became one of the tracks fans could gravitate toward, and now DDG is giving the song an even bigger push with the official visual.
For Babyfxce E, the collaboration adds another major name to an already busy 2026 run. The Detroit rapper has continued building his catalog with releases including Da Realest and The X Tape 2, while “BUTTONS & SWITCHES” gives him another high-profile collaboration to add to the résumé.
DDG, meanwhile, continues to blur the line between music and internet culture. His HIT-A-THON concept allowed fans to watch songs being created before eventually hearing the finished versions, turning the album rollout into an entire online event.
Now that the official video is here, fans can finally put a visual to one of the album’s most talked-about collaborations.
DDG and Babyfxce E are officially outside with “BUTTONS & SWITCHES.”
