Ohio mom receives jail time after police rescued her 3-year-old child from a feces-covered, bug-infested apartment.
Body camera footage obtained from Ohio police back in March 2024 Ohio shows a squalid apartment where a severely malnourished 3-year-old girl was found clinging to life.
The child’s mother 26 Year-old Rabyah Muballigh was arrested in connection to the case and indicted by a grand jury on one count of felony assault and child endangerment.
Greene County Prosecuting Attorney David D. Hayes stated that it was the worst case of child abuse he’s seen in his 20-year career.
The girl only weighed 16 pounds when police found her. She was covered in bed bug bites.
Muballigh, was sentenced to 7 to 10 1/2 years on Thursday
