As Hurricane Dorian approached Florida with windy waves around 8 a.m, the storm appeared to wash up bricks of cocaine.
A man noticed something suspicious had washed ashore and immediately alerted the police.
More than a dozen bricks of cocaine washed up on two beaches, police said.
On Friday, a bag containing 15 bricks of cocaine weighing a kilo each was found with the letters “D-I-A-M-A-N-T” visible
The brick was tested and was determined to be cocaine, the spokeswoman said, adding that it will be destroyed.
