Bronx, New York City female rapper Cardi B was indicted on Friday by a grand jury for her alleged participation in a brawl.
The 26-year-old faces felony assault charges related to a fight at a Queens, New York strip club last summer.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper had previously faced misdemeanor charges over the Aug. 29 brawl at the Angels NYC strip club.
Cardi was arrested in October for allegedly attacking two female bartenders at the club. The two claim they were injured by bottles and chairs thrown inside the club.
The brawl happened last August, after she allegedly accused one of them for having an affair with her husband, Offset, a member of the Migos.
Her two friends was also indicted for participating in the fight.
“The grand jury handed up the indictment for all three co-defendants, they will be arraigned in Supreme Court,” the DA said.
The flashy rapper and social media star had refused a plea deal in the case that would’ve essentially gotten her off the hook if she stayed out of trouble.
Surveillance video reportedly showed Cardi B picking up an ice bucket and hurling it at the sisters.
