Texas cops arrested a pre-school teacher on Wednesday on connections of health concerns of a three-month year-old infant.
24 Year-0ld Jasmine Collum employee of Ignite Learning Academy in Temple, was arrested on on a felony charges after receiving calls about a 3-month-old baby boy “showing unusual lethargy” allegedly discovered that a day care teacher was to blame and that she was caught on video treating him like a “rag doll.”
When officers arrived to the location they learned that the child had been taken to Ignite Learning Academy in Temple, TX for daycare around 8:00 a.m. that morning. “At around 4:00 p.m., the child began showing unusual lethargy. EMS decided to transport the child for medical care.”
Video footage shows Collum, “picking the infant up in her left arm, swinging and bouncing him in a forceful manner causing him to flop around as though he were a ragdoll’.
The Temple Police Department and Child Protective Services are working together to continue the investigation.
Collum is being held on a $125,000 bond, online jail records show.
