A woman driving a Peter Pan bus was arrested after locking a woman in the luggage compartment of the bus on Sunday evening.
Police charged 49 year-old Wendy Helena Alberty with reckless endangerment, unlawful arrest and breach of peace.
According to Boston Magazine officers received a call around 4pm from the upset 32-year-old woman, from New York, who was trapped in the vehicle, .
The bus, which was en route to Boston, would be tracked down and later intercepted by officers on Interstate 84 near the town of Willington, in Connecticut.
It’s unclear how long the woman had been trapped inside the luggage hold for and from where she had been traveling.
