On Friday deputies arrested a Florida man they say dug a grave for another man he struck in the back of the head multiple times .
29 Year-Old Giovanni Bubenik faces attempted first-degree murder charges after a thorough investigation on the attack in a DeLand-area transient camp that left the adult male victim in critical condition.
Deputies tracked down Bubenik hiding at 147 Evergreen Terrace on Friday and took him into custody with the help of K-9 Red.
Deputies reported that the suspect had been involved in a heated argument with the victim before the altercation turned violent.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition following the attack.
Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the suspect’s actions.
The grave was discovered in a remote area near the scene of the assault. The suspect is facing charges of attempted murder and is awaiting trial.
