A Islip High School baseball coach was arrested by Long Island police for alleged sexual abusing a 16-year-old female student.
25 year-old Tyler Murphy was arrested on Friday afternoon by Suffolk County Police officers after he allegedly touched on one of his students on the campus around 8:30.
Murphy was later fired and charged with 3rd degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to newsday.com Murphy was also a student at the Highschool back in 2008 as well as a baseball player himself.
