Man Accused of Using COVID-19 Loan to Buy Lamborghini.

A South Florida man fraudulently obtained $3.9 million in federal COVID-19 relief loans and balled out using most of the cash to buy a $318,000 Lamborghini Huracan.

29 Year-Old David T. Hines was arrested on July 27 after federal authorities say he used $3.9 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans to purchase a Lamborghini sports car for himself. 

Hines was charged with one count of bank fraud, one count of making false statements to a financial institution and one count of engaging in transactions in unlawful proceeds, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
