Houston officers are searching for a man that robbed and passed a note to a teller explaining he was robbing the bank after not receiving a stimulus check or loan that could have saved his business.
The man wore a mask covering his face during the robbery slipped a piece of notebook paper to a teller at the Woodforest National Bank. The teller unfolded the paper and read the note.
The note said: I didn’t get a stimulus or that 10k loan. I lost my business to Covid so please make this easy and comply”. “I don’t wanna hurt nobody but will if I have to.”
Even though the man didn’t display a gun, he still got away with cash because the teller feared for her life,
Police didn’t release the amount of money stolen.
There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the wanted man’s arrest.
