The LAPD is searching for a man who shot two Los Angeles County sheriff deputies who was sitting in there patrol car on Saturday
Surveillance footage shows a suspect opening fire without warning or provocation,” authorities said.
The deputies, a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are both in critical condition and “fighting for their lives” as they underwent surgery following the attack, which occurred around 7 p.m. local time outside a Metro rail station in Compton.
The gunman remains on the loose.

Update: One male deputy and one female deputy were ambushed as they sat in their patrol vehicle. Both sustained multiple gunshot wounds and are in critical condition. They are both currently undergoing surgery. The suspect is still at large.
