28-year-old Christopher McKinney of Madison Heights was arrested for stabbing his mother and stepfather after they asked him to turn off a video he was watching so they could go to bed.
According to Madison Heights police McKinney was watching television in his mother and stepfathers room when he was asked him to turn it off so they could get some rest.
Investigators said that’s when an argument broke out and McKinney pulled out a knife, cutting and stabbing both his mother and stepfather. Police said all three were treated for injuries and then taken to the hospital where his stepfather later died.
He’s being held on a $510k bond.
