Manny Pacquiao Agrees To Fight the undefeated Boxer Floyd Mayweather having won ten world titles and the lineal championship in four different weight classes.
Pacquiao has agreed to terms for a May 2 fight with the champ, but the only thing in the way of the long-awaited fight occurring is Mayweather’s approval.
Mayweather’s representatives have also agreed to the deal but have not been able to get Floyd’s agreement.
However, there is no verification from anyone representing Mayweather whether Arum’s side is accurate.
Arum told Yahoo that now they are just waiting for Mayweather to approve the terms for what could be the richest fight in the history of boxing on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
“I want to get some movement here, with bringing Mayweather to the table so we can go out and get everything signed and get the networks together and get the thing finished,” the 83-year-old Arum told Yahoo.
Arum also said that Mayweather’s representatives have agreed to the deal but have not been able to get Mayweather’s agreement. Most reports have had Mayweather getting a 60-40 split of the purse.
