An Arizona mom was arrested on Saturday night after assaulting her children and stepchildren for not wearing a face mask.

Sarah Michelle Boone, 32 is now facing child abuse charges and disorderly conduct after an incident at the family’s home in Wickenburg.

Police say that Boone kicked one of the children, hit another in the face, and picked up the 3rd by the neck.

The abuse came after the children were not wearing face coverings, even though they had tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

Officers say that Boone took off before they arrived to her apartment but was later spotted walking down a street when they apprehended her.

Authorities said she ignored their orders to stop, then fought them when they tried to arrest her.

They used a taser to subdue her.

Boone was taken to Maricopa County Jail where she was charged and released on a $5,000 bond.
