Three people are facing murder and child cruelty charges after a baby was found unresponsive at a motel earlier this week.
September Seright, 19, Lamisha Seright, 42, and Bennie Nash, 39, all were charged with 2nd-degree murder after police found a 3-month-old baby dying of hypothermia.
Josiah Seright was found in a motel room sitting in a wet car seat, wrapped in a wet blanket next to an air conditioning unit set to 61 degree.
Richmond County deputies were called to a Budget Inn in Augusta just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Seright, allegedly took the boy in the bathroom while she showered, wrapped him in a wet blanket and sat him in a car seat in front of the AC unit.
According to the arrest warrant Seright was lying on a couch and the other two suspects were lying in a bed.
The child was taken to Wellstar MCG Hospital after being found unresponsive. The baby died at 2:37 a.m. on Tuesday.
