Santa Ana Police Department responded to a 911 call from a La Quinta hotel room on March 19th from a woman who claimed she stabbed and killed her son.
Upon arrival officers found the boy responsive in the hotel room, suffering from multiple stab wounds surrounded by Disneyland souvenirs.
He was declared dead at the scene by personnel with the Orange County Fire Authority.
The 11-year-old victim was killed just 3 days after going to Disneyland during a custody visitation. He was set to return to his father that day.
She also told authorities she ingested an unknown substance.
The woman alleged that she had acted in self-defense against her son, who she claimed was threatening her life.
