A Cleveland, Ohio mother was arrested last month once she returned home from a nearby bar.
Liz Yomaris Torres Rivera locked her three children in a room then stepped out for a few drinks only to find police already there tending to the children.
River’s neighbor called 911 after hearing the children crying non-stop.
Can you have EMS come check out three toddlers? No adult. They were locked in their room,’ an officer could be heard saying as he called for backup.
As the officers were checking the children were okay, Rivera surprised them by suddenly showing up.
‘What’s going on?’ Rivera could be heard saying on the bodycam video.
An officer responds: ‘You weren’t worried about the kids when you locked ’em in the bedroom and you took off, were you?’
Rivera was asked if she had been drinking after an officer said he smelled alcohol on her
