A mother has been put behind bars for throwing her 2-year-old son down a flight of stairs of a Bronx subway station, police said.
According to NYdailynews the 25-year-old mom was arguing with her toddler’s father when she pushed the pram down the steps at the 149th-St.-Grand Concourse station in Melrose at about 2:30 p.m., authorities said.
Medics took the boy to Lincoln Hospital with cuts on his face and head. He’s in stable condition, cops said.
The mom, whose name was not released, was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital for psychological evaluation.
