17-year-old Charles Smith J.r, was pronounced dead on Sunday after North Little Rock Officers shot him for cocking his gun back and pointing it at them.
Dashcam Video shows 17-year-old Charles Smith of Arkansas pulling a gun out and trying to fire it before police fired back during a traffic stop at 52nd and Camp Robinson Road on a vehicle that was occupied by three individuals.
During the traffic stop, one of the subjects was being patted down for officer safety when a gun was observed on the suspect.
Police claim that a struggle then ensued between officers and the suspect. During the struggle, the suspect allegedly fired at least one shot at the officers which resulted in the officers firing shots at the suspect.
The teen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
