Two brothers were charged with manslaughter in Riverside, New York, for allegedly leaving their 82-year-old grandmother to die in a fire while they saved their meth equipment.
A Steuben County grand jury indicted the two brothers on charges of 2-degree murder in connection with a fire that killed their grandmother Gladys Ann Willow.
Jarrett and Justin Gause are also facing multiple reckless endangerment charges for the firefighters who responded and evidence tampering charges,
The brothers allegedly saved their meth-making equipment, but left Willow inside the home. After saving the equipment, they went to get cigarettes and did not report the blaze, the station reported.
