Georgia parents charged with the death of their 12-year-old daughter linked to head Lice has been granted bail.
Mary Katherine Horton and John Joseph Yozviak were both granted a $100,000 bail Monday because prosecutors have yet sought their indictment by a grand jury.
Yozviak and Horton both was charged with child cruelty and 2nd-degree murder for the death of their daughter Kaitlyn Yozviak who might have died from years-long of lice infestation.
Though autopsy results are still pending, medical records from September attribute Kaitlyn’s death to cardiac arrest with severe anemia listed as a secondary cause.
