Police Shot A 13-Year-Old Boy With Autism After Mother Calls 911 For Help!

UTAH: An investigation is underway after a 13 year-old autistic boy was shot by police in Salt Lake City after the child’s mother called 911 for help.

Linden Cameron who has Asperger syndrome, was left in serious condition with injuries to his intestines, bladder, shoulder and ankles from the Friday shooting in Glendale

Mom called 911 to ask officers for help in taking the boy to hospital.

“I told them, ‘Look, he’s unarmed, he doesn’t have anything, he just gets mad and he starts yelling and screaming. He’s a kid, he’s trying to get attention”.

When the teenager started running from the police, one of the officers opened fire.

“Given the threats of a weapon police arrived in the area and made contact with this male, that male fled on foot.

“He’s a small child – why don’t you just tackle him?” his mother said.
