2-Year-Old Snatched By Alligator, Dragged Into Water At Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort. The child was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon near the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at around 9.30pm on Tuesday.

Wildlife officials removed four alligators from the water and cut them open, but they found no sign of the boy.

Update: Police say there’s “no question” the missing 2-year-old Nebraska boy who was dragged by an alligator into a lake Tuesday evening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Bay Lake, Florida, is dead.

Wildlife officials removed four alligators from the water and cut them open, but they found no sign of the boy.

Rescue teams were initially hopeful that they would find the boy alive, but officials now say the attack was not survivable. After 15 hours, the search is still underway for the toddler’s body in the artificial Seven Seas Lagoon, located on Disney property.

At this point, rescue teams want to give the family closure, officials said.
