Twitter drags civil rights activist Shaun King after finding out that he will receive this year’s Diamond Ball Award at Rihanna’s fifth annual Diamond Ball which will also feature performances from Pharrell and DJ Khaled.
On Wednesday, the dual honor was announced regarding the songstress’ yearly star-studded gathering benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation in New York. The pair will receive the 2019 Diamond Ball Award.
Jeffery Shaun King is an American writer, civil rights activist, and co-founder of Real Justice PAC. King is known for his use of social media to promote social justice causes, including the Black Lives Matter movement. King was raised in Kentucky and attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
