Indianapolis Officer Pleads Guilty

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Sergeant Eric Huxley pleaded guilty for an incident that occurred back in 2021 when he was caught on bodycam footage stomping on a handcuffed mans head.

Huxley pleaded guilty to violating Jermaine Vaughn civil rights while assisting another IMPD officer with an arrest on September 24, 2021.

Investigators presented a probable cause affidavit to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office on October 8, 2021. Earlier today, the MCPO filed formal charges.

44 Year-old Eric Huxley entered a guilty plea Monday in federal court to one count of deprivation of rights under color of law, which carries up to 10 years in prison when sentenced.
