Student charged with making a terroristic threat after writing Tyler, the Creator lyrics on school property.

Tyler, the Creator

A 21-year-old student at the University of South Alabama was arrested and charged with making terrorist threats after writing Tyler, the Creator’s lyrics on a flip chart in the school’s library

Jack Aaron Christensen, reportedly wrote the refrain from Tyler’s 2011 song “Radicals,” “Kill people, burn shit, f**k school in the Library”.

Tyler’s lyrics have previously been at the centre of legal conflict, with his group Odd Future banned from performing at a New Zealand festival in 2012 due to their lyrical content.

Two years later, Odd Future was again blocked from entering the country to join Eminem at Rapture Festival because they were deemed “a potential threat to public order.” In 2015, the rapper was banned from the UK.
