A former Tennessee teacher was sentenced to 25 years behind bars after she was found guilty for raping a 12 year-old and getting pregnant.
39-Year-Old Alissa McCommon a fourth-grade teacher of Covington pleaded guilty to rape charges, 3 counts of aggravated statutory rape and 3 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means.
She was also sentenced to community supervision for life on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry as a violent sex offender and was ordered to have her teaching license revoked.
