A 33 year-old Mallori Patrice Strait was charged with abuse of corpse after attempting to flush her fetus down a toilet at a Texas whataburger over the weekend.
The manager said she entered the restaurant around midnight, hung out in the lobby area for a few hours before heading to the bathroom.
The manager told authorities that he checked on her several times after hearing noises coming from the restroom, brought her water and told her she had to leave.
Bexar County sheriff’s deputies responded and began questioning Strait, who was allegedly uncooperative. Deputies contacted emergency services, notifying them of “human like material in the restroom.” The Converse Fire Department arrived at the scene and tried to render life-saving care to the infant while Strait was detained.
She was charged with abuse of a corpse.
