A 21-month-old girl was shot on Monday after an argument broke out between her mother and a neighbor over an Uber Eats order.
According to MLive The girl was shot while seated in a car nearby after a argument between her mom and a neighbor broke out.
Officers believe that at some point during their dispute the neighbor raised a hammer at the woman who took out a gun and fired several shots.
The child was transported to Henry Ford Hospital around 7:30 p.m. and listed in critical condition.
Police recovered the gun and the hammer and took the mother into custody.
Police said the woman has a concealed pistol license.
