On Wednesday during a news briefing, President Donald Trump defended labeling the coronavirus “the Chinese virus when asked by a reporter.
“It’s not racist at all,” Trump told ABC reporter Cecilia Vega who asked him that question.
ABC reporter Cecilia Vega warned Trump about calling COVID-19 the “Chinese virus”, saying that it could lead to racial profiling.
Trump added that “it’s not racist at all, no, not at all.”
