Two Florida police officers “a lieutenant and a detective sergeant” are under investigation after one admitted to putting their 3-year-old son in a jail cell over potty-training trouble last year.
Daytona Beach Shores Lt. Michael Schoenbrod told a Department of Children and Families caseworker that his son was “having difficulty” with toilet training and was jailed “on successive days” in October.”

The child had been jailed twice Schoenbrod told a DCF case worker the boy “was crying. I was getting the response I expected from him.” The boy allegedly promised to never poop his pants again.
