Gucci Mane has reportedly addressed his ongoing tension with Pooh Shiesty in a newly surfaced track titled “Crash Dummy,” produced by Zaytoven.
The song quickly spread across social media, sparking discussion among fans about the status of their relationship.
The situation between the Atlanta rapper and the Memphis artist has been widely discussed in hip-hop circles, largely due to their past label affiliation and the legal issues surrounding Pooh Shiesty.
According to allegations reported by authorities, Pooh Shiesty was involved in an incident during a January recording session in which he allegedly forced a situation over a contract dispute.
Reports claim he arranged a meeting at a Dallas studio under the pretense of recording and business discussions, but the meeting escalated after he allegedly demanded to be released from his record deal.
When the request was denied, it is alleged that a firearm was produced and a contract release was signed under duress, followed by a robbery involving others present.
In connection with the case, Pooh Shiesty’s family home in Cordova, Tennessee, was searched by the FBI on April 1, with arrests made and details of the allegations later discussed at a press conference.
Pooh Shiesty’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, has pushed back on the government’s version of events, arguing that there are inconsistencies between the claims and the available evidence.
