A Los Angeles County judge has ordered that rapper Blueface’s music royalties be redirected to Jackilyn Martinez, the mother of Soulja Boy’s child, as part of an effort to satisfy an unpaid defamation judgment.
According to court documents first reported by TMZ, the ruling allows Martinez to collect royalties generated from Blueface’s music catalog through major performance rights organizations ASCAP and BMI.
The payments will be applied directly toward a court judgment originally valued at approximately $123,000.
The case stems from a social media feud between Blueface and Soulja Boy, during which Blueface made public statements about Martinez.
Among the claims, he suggested he had been intimate with her shortly before her baby shower and implied he could be the father of her child.
Martinez later filed a defamation lawsuit, arguing the statements were false and damaging to her reputation. Court filings maintained that she had no relationship with Blueface during the relevant time period and denied any possibility that he was the father of her child.
Martinez ultimately won the lawsuit after Blueface failed to respond in court. In April 2025, a judge issued a default judgment in her favor, awarding roughly $123,000 in damages, fees, and costs.
As the judgment went unpaid, interest accrued, increasing the total amount owed over time. Reports from late 2025 placed the debt at more than $130,000.
The latest court order escalates collection efforts by allowing Martinez to intercept Blueface’s music royalties directly. Instead of pursuing traditional debt collection methods, the court has effectively redirected his performance income stream to satisfy the judgment.
The order applies to royalties administered through ASCAP and BMI, meaning any earnings generated from Blueface’s catalog via radio play, streaming performance royalties, and licensing could be subject to collection until the debt is fully paid.
The legal battle is part of a broader ongoing saga involving public disputes between Blueface and Soulja Boy. Martinez has also been involved in separate legal proceedings related to child support matters with Soulja Boy, though those are unrelated to the defamation case.
Neither Blueface nor Soulja Boy had publicly commented on the latest court order at the time of publication.
With the royalty assignment now in place, Martinez will continue receiving payments from Blueface’s music earnings until the full judgment amount is satisfied. The ruling represents one of the more direct enforcement actions available under civil judgment collection law.
Whether Blueface challenges the order or settles the debt remains unclear.
