A video that went viral depicted a mother and her daughter, accompanied by an unknown man, assaulting a black woman driver over parking spot.
The incident occurred after the driver moved a trash can that was reserving a parking spot.
Last week in New York City, two people got arrested for verbally assaulting and violently attacking a 21-year-old driver outside a residence in Ridgewood, Queens, as shown in a video.
Social media users claimed that the victim’s attempt to relocate a garbage bin blocking a public parking spot led to an outbreak of violence by a mother-daughter pair, according to reports.
Andreea Dumitru, aged 45, along with Sabrina Starman, aged 21, faced assault charges on Monday following the incident.
Today, the mother and daughter issued an apology to NewYorkPost, but the victim remains unconvinced.
Since the viral video emerged, Dumitru and Starman have faced a barrage of insults and threats following the physical altercation with McPherson.
The footage captures them punching McPherson, yanking her hair, and tossing her to the ground, while both parties exchange racial and ethnic slurs.
