In Ohio, authorities apprehended a man and a woman who allegedly assaulted an employee after entering an Arby’s restaurant.
21 Year-Old Stevi J. Creech was taken into custody after reportedly assaulting an Arby’s worker with a rock during a dispute over a blunt. Gerrin Rankin, a 26-year-old man accused of aiding Creech in the assault, was also arrested and faces a charge of misdemeanor criminal menacing.
Records indicate that Creech was arrested last week and faces a charge of felonious assault causing serious injury.
On September 11, a woman in front of Arby’s caught the attention of Kettering officers who were patrolling near the intersection of Forrer Boulevard and Smithville Road.
According to an affidavit and statement of facts, officers observed that she was bleeding from the face and screaming.
A witness reported to the police that a man and a woman entered the drive-thru area, attacked the victim, and then fled the scene.

According to the news outlet, surveillance footage revealed Creech entering the restaurant’s indoor drive-thru area while holding an object, followed shortly by Rankin, who was seen entering moments later.
AES Restaurant Group places a high emphasis on the safety of its team members and is completely cooperating with the authorities in the aftermath of the incident.
A spokesperson for AES Restaurant Group informed WDTN that the team member in question has received medical attention and has now rejoined the workforce. Both Rankin and Creech were assigned a bond of $25,000 and instructed to refrain from any contact with the victim.
Kettering is about a 5-mile drive south from downtown Dayton.
The investigation into the assault is ongoing, with detectives reviewing additional surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
