PINECREST, Fla. — Three men from Georgia have been arrested and charged following an attempted break-in at the South Florida home of a well-known reality television personality Larsa Pippen.
According to police, the incident occurred at the homeowner’s residence in Pinecrest, an affluent Miami-Dade County community. Surveillance footage captured the suspects entering the property and moving into the backyard, where they allegedly attempted to force their way inside by smashing glass doors and windows.
The homeowner was not present at the time of the incident but was alerted through a home security system and immediately contacted law enforcement. Authorities say the suspects were unable to gain entry into the residence before fleeing the scene.
Police later located the suspects’ vehicle, which crashed during an apparent محاولة to escape. The three individuals then attempted to flee on foot but were apprehended shortly afterward with the assistance of K-9 units.
All three suspects, ranging in age from 18 to 23, are now facing charges related to attempted burglary. Investigators noted that one of the individuals also had an outstanding warrant in Georgia.
Officials believe the home may have been specifically targeted, though the investigation remains ongoing. The attempted break-in resulted in more than $1,000 in property damage, primarily to the home’s exterior glass fixtures.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Authorities continue to investigate whether the suspects may be connected to similar crimes in the area.
