Brian King Joseph Accuses Will Smith of Sexual Harassment in Civil Lawsuit

Brian King Joseph, a 32-year-old violinist who previously appeared on America’s Got Talent, has filed a lawsuit against actor and musician Will Smith, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination.

According to the lawsuit, Joseph was hired to perform at Smith’s concerts in 2024 after previously playing for him at Smith’s home. The legal complaint states that during a tour stop in Las Vegas last March, Joseph returned to his hotel room late at night and discovered it had been entered without his permission.

Joseph claims that someone left a handwritten note in the room, along with several personal items that did not belong to him. He says the situation caused him to fear for his safety, prompting him to contact hotel security, a non-emergency police line, and Smith’s management team.

Instead of receiving support, Joseph alleges that tour management blamed him for the incident. He says he was later removed from the tour and replaced.

The lawsuit further states that the situation caused Joseph emotional distress, financial losses, and damage to his professional reputation. It also alleges that Smith engaged in inappropriate conduct, describing what Joseph’s attorneys characterize as “grooming” behavior. Smith and his management company are both named as defendants.

Smith’s attorney has denied the allegations, calling them false and without merit. As of now, Smith has not personally commented publicly on the lawsuit.

The case was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and remains ongoing. No trial date has been announced, and the claims have not been proven in court.
