Bryan Kohberger Sentenced to Life for Idaho Murders.

Bryan Kohberger received four life sentences for killing four University of Idaho students by stabbing them in a residence off-campus at 1122 King Road in Moscow, Idaho on November 13, 2022.

At a hearing where the four victims’ family and friends confronted him with anguish and anger, Kohberger declined to clarify his reasons for the murders.

On Wednesday, a judge sentenced Bryan Kohberger, the murderer of four Idaho college students, to life in prison without parole. Kohberger chose not to disclose his motives despite calls from victims’ relatives, case observers, and even President Trump for an explanation.

Judge Steven Hippler stated that he could not compel Mr. Kohberger, aged 30, to talk, but he labeled the murderer as a coward who had surreptitiously entered a residence in Moscow. He imposed four consecutive life sentences.

Kohberger politely refused to comment when a judge in Boise asked for his input at Wednesday’s hearing.

And during his sentencing, he said nothing beyond declining to speak.

After hearing nearly three hours of heart-wrenching victim impact statements from the friends and family of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Ethan Chapin, 20, the cold comment was made.

Numerous individuals in the courtroom were brought to tears by those statements, including the judge who was observed wiping his nose. While speaking, Prosecutor Bill Thompson became emotional, yet Kohberger remained composed and unemotional as he gazed at the individuals impacted by his actions.
