Urgent Care Workers Fired After Inappropriate TikTok Surfaces.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.Several urgent care employees in Santa Barbara have been fired after a TikTok video filmed inside medical examination rooms over Labor Day weekend went viral and drew widespread backlash.

The video, which circulated quickly online, shows staff members posing and laughing next to bodily fluids left on exam tables.

One caption reads, “Are patients allowed to leave you guys gifts?” followed by a series of clips showing employees pointing at stains and jokingly guessing their origin. Another frame includes the words, “all shades and opacities,” while the final image shows a group of staff posing around a stain with the text, “make sure to leave your healthcare workers sweet gifts like these!”

KTLA reported that A spokesperson for the urgent care facility confirmed Wednesday afternoon that all individuals involved in the video have been terminated.

Online reaction was swift and critical. On Reddit, one commenter wrote, “If that is what they post publicly, imagine what goes on privately.” Another added, “It’s insane to me how many people were involved in this and not ONE thought it was wrong.”

“Funny that they’re all covering their badges with their private information but posting these pictures. Sickening,” one user noted. Another commented, “This needs to be shown to students as a warning about how you can quickly and easily mess up your career.”

The name of the facility has not been released, and it remains unclear whether further disciplinary or legal actions are being considered.
